Samantha's Genius Hour

Hailey and Taylor created customized journals and pencils for their genius hour project. They then sold their creations and donated $67 to Second Chance. Second Chance is an organization that helps care for and rehome abused and abandoned animals. They did a fabulous job!

As a class, we created an ibook about our famous Missourians.  Students researched, drafted, edited and enhanced their writing in a variety of ways.  This ibook can be downloaded on any device (tablet, phone, iPad, etc).  Please feel free to explore and learn about an assortment of people who impacted Missouri history. Helping Harry

This week we completed some engineering challenges.  One challenge was called, Help Harry.  We used limited materials and created a new perch for Harry. Students focused on talking respectfully with members of their group. Their creations are impressive and inventive!
